The next Shumicon will be held on
10.–11.4.2027 in Dipoli, Espoo.
We want to invite you to join and organize a magical Shumicon!
Our new venue in Dipoli will enable us to create an even bigger and fancier Shumicon. The new venue can fit much more inside its’ walls, which means we need more volunteers to help make everything happen! ₊˚⊹♡

Shumicon is a convention with an emphasis on cosplaying, anime, manga, video games and japanese pop culture in general.
Shumicon’s goal is to provide versailte programme for both new and old members of the cosplay community, and during the weekend there will be competitions, amazing performances, fun workshops, thought invoking panels and lectures, plenty of shopping opportunities and of course a relaxed con-atmosphere! One of the main objectives of Shumicon is to help shine light on the many different ways of enjoying japanese pop culture.
Shumicon 2027 will have an admission fee. More info regarding the event will be published during the summer and fall.
Shumicon is a non-profit event, organized completely by volunteers. The organization behind the event is Pääkapunkiseudun Cosplay Ry.
