Shumicon Shoppu is a vendors hall event, where we’re offering our convention goers a large Vendors Hall, filled with small and local companies selling their products, and an excellent Artist Alley where artisans, craftsmen and artist sell their original works of art.

Shumicafé will be at the event, offering all visitors to the event warm drinks and delicious pastries for a small price.

The event is open from 11-18. The Artist Alley and Artisan tables are open during the whole event. Shumicon Shoppu is a free-entry event and requires no tickets or badges for entry.

What is Shumicon Shoppu?
Shumicon Shoppu is a smaller sales event compared to the main event Shumicon. Shumicon Shoppu, welcomes retailers, small businesses and companies, artisans and artists to art alleys to sell their products and art. Shumicon Shoppu is a month before Christmas, so it is also the best place to do Christmas shopping. At Shoppu, you can also find a Christmas-themed gifts and activities among the shopping.

Where is Shumicon Shoppu?
Shumicon Shoppu is in Suvilahti, in two different buildings. In Suvilahti’s Tiivistämö you can find the artist alley and Shumicafé. At Circo you will find the vendors hall with artisans and small businesses. The closest metro station to Suvilahti is Kalasatama (approx. 350m), but you can also walk to the venue from Sörnäinen metro station (1.2km). Next to Shoppu is e.g. shopping center REDI. Is cosplaying allowed in Shumicon Shoppu?
Yes you can! Cosplay is an important part of Shumicon events and we warmly welcome all cosplay enthusiasts to Shumicon Shoppu! Please note that there is no separate changing room on the venue, but there is an opportunity to change clothes in the lobby of the Tiivistämö toilets and in the toilet cubicles. The premises can be found on the ground floor of Tiivistämö.

Is there a cloakroom at Shumicon Shoppu?
There will be a small self-service cloakroom at Shoppu. There is no bigger, staffed cloakroom. Storage of goods & clothes in the self-service cloakroom is the responsibility of the visitor, so please do not leave any valuables or e.g. purchases there.
