Shumicon 2025 will feature a performance-focused program:
One Night Illusions!
One Night Illusions is a program in the Main Hall that focuses on performance without the fear or pressure of evaluation or competition. We want to give all applicants the opportunity to perform for an audience out of the joy of performing and the passion for their own skill and art.
We welcome all performers from beginners to more experienced acts!
You can apply to One Night Illusions with any kind of performance. However, we request that the performances are somehow related to the themes of the event; cosplay, anime and manga, and video games. We also accept other nerd culture-themed performances.
Your act can be a dance or music performance, magic, drag show, DJ set, comedy, stand-up, video showcase (e.g. CMV) or cosplay-play, etc. You can apply alone, with a partner or in a group. The stage is free!
We will announce any possible seating tickets for the program closer to the event.
