The ticket needs to be shown at the event either printed out or in a digital form, e.g. from a smartphone’s screen. The ticket will be changed to a wristband at the event, which grants you entry to the programs that need admission. The wristband is personal, and the ticket will be exchanged to the wristband only once – keep the same wristband the whole event.
Reselling
Shumicon is responsible only for the tickets bought through our official ticket store. We’re not responsible for tickets resold through private individuals or through third-party sites (e.g. huuto.net, tori.fi, Facebook Marketplace). In case of issues on the matter, we advise you to seek help from the site used for the sale, or contact the police if needed.
Event space
Shumicon’s event space spans the inside and outside of the Stoa Cultural center, Itäkeskus library and Itäkeskus Adult Education Centre. Those who’ve bought the wristband can freely go to the Adult Education Centre and enjoy the programs and activities offered, like the flea market, karaoke and workshops. We might need to restrict access to the spaces every now and then, if the spaces fill up too quickly or if the air quality drops too much. The wristband also grants you entry to the programs in the main hall (cosplay competitions, other shows), for which you’ll also need additional free seat tickets due to limited seats.
Stoa’s outdoor spaces, lobby and lofts, Music hall and gallery, where you’ll find the sales hall and artist alley, and Itäkeskus library’s spaces are free to enter for everyone. There will be different programs and activities for all ages in the library. Sitting areas can be found in Stoa’s lobby and loft as well as outside in the plaza. If needed we will at times temporarily restrict access to the sales hall and artist alley for maintaining order and to guarantee comfort.
At Stoa’s lobby you can find restaurant BOX, which provides food and beverage services during Shumicon.
Pink area: Wristband entry only. This area includes Adult Education Centre’s spaces, which offer various con activities like dance rhythm games, dressing rooms, flea market and karaoke.
Blue area: Free entry, wristband not needed. You can freely shop in the Vendor’s hall and Artist Alley. The library also offers free programs and activities for everyone. Outdoor spaces also have free entry.
Pink & blue mixed area: This area has programs you need the wristband for (cosplay competitions, other shows), but also programs that are free entry (opening and ending show). Please refer to individual programmes’ information for more info.
