Shumicon will have a Flea Market where you can bring your unneeded cosplay, crafts, anime, manga and video game products for sale!

Selling at the Flea Market is free of cost, but shopping is only possible with a Shumicon event ticket. Sellers without a ticket have their own schedule for dropping off and picking up their products and profits.
Shumicon’s Kirppu flea market system will open on 18th of April at 6pm
How does the Flea Market work?
All products must be added into the Kirppu-flea market system, which will generate the price tags. Each seller must print and attach the price tags to their products themselves.
During the product drop-off, all product price tags will be scanned at the cash registers. Once they show up properly, they can be taken to their respective aisles within the Flea Market. Products will be scanned again when they leave the flea market either because they were sold, or because they were picked up by the seller. Sellers can follow their sales in real-time on the Kirppu-system via the Mobiili-tab.
Dropping off products is possible during Friday 23.5.2025 between 15:00 to 17:00. Sellers with a Shumicon event ticket can bring products also during all of Saturday within the Flea Market’s open hours.
Picking up unsold products and sales profits is possible during Flea Market open hours all the way until Sunday 25.5.2025 by 17:30. After 17:30 all unsold products will be assumed leftovers, collected and donated to fitting donation destinations.
Selling large amounts of products or very small products as boxes
You can add products to Kirppu as individual items or if you have many products of the same kind, as boxes.
Boxes are meant for large quantities of similar products, such as badges, key chains, tiny figures and other types of products where it would be difficult to attach the price tag individually. The logic of boxes is “all products from this box for 2€/piece“.
When you create a box in Kirppu, each box will generate its’ own separate page with the information about the box’s content and pricing. Bring the page as it is, printed out, and pass it to the flea market staff during product drop-off. Staff will then attach a number to the box, which customers will use when buying. You can use the box-functionality with collectible cards as well – the “box” doesn’t needt to be a physical box, it can be a folder where you keep the cards.
